As a 23-year-old Afro Latina cosmetologist, I have experienced firsthand the unique challenges that come with maintaining curly hair. I understand the struggle of being targeted for embracing my natural hair. I’ve witnessed the beauty of ethnic hair in all its diverse patterns, across races and genders.

The transformation our hair undergoes, both wet and dry is truly one of a kind. It tells a story of resilience, culture, and identity. However, I’ve also seen the darker side of the beauty industry- mass production companies that prioritize profit over well being, often incorporating harmful ingredients into products designed for our hair.

This realization ignited a fire within me to step into the cosmetic world, not just as a professional but as an advocate for us Black, Hispanic, Caribbean, indigenous people. My mission is to create products that celebrate unique hair textures and promote healthy hair care practices. I believe in the power of natural ingredients that nourish and enhance our curls, allowing us to embrace our beauty without compromise..
